미국의 전설적인 주식 투자자인 워런 뷰페가 국회의원들이 정신 바짝 차릴 수 있도록 아래와 같은 방법을 제기하고 나서서 주목 되고 있습니다. 근데, 이게 정말 그 사람이 보낸 것인지는 알길이 없습니다???
정치적인 글 쓰는것 별로 좋아하지 않지만, 상당히 공감이 갑니다!! 이거 통과 시키는데 공헌한 국회의원 대통령 만들어 주기 하면 더 쉽게 통과되지 않을까 싶습니다!! 우리나라에서 한번 해보면 어떨까요??

The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971 - before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc.
미국 헌법의 26번째 수정안인 18세 이상에게 투표권을 부여하는 조항은 3개월 8일만에 통과가 되었답니다. 그때는 1971으로 컴퓨터나 이메일 휴대폰이 없을때 였습니다. 국민이 요구하면 된다는 것입니다.
Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took one (1) year or less to become the law of the land - all because of public pressure.
27개 헌법 수정안중 7개가 1년이내에 이루어 졌답니다. 국민의 힘이 위대하기 때문이빈다.

All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
전직, 현직, 미래 국회의원들 모두 사회보장 연금에 가입해야한다. 국회의원 퇴직금은 모두 사회보장연금으로 옮겨져야한다.
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
미국 시민들이 자신의 은퇴 연금을 관리하듯이 국회의원들도 자신의 은퇴 연금 관리를 스스로 해야한다.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
국회는 더 이상 연봉인상에 대한 투표를 하지말아야 한다. 국회의원들의 연봉은 3% 또는 소비자물가지표 중에 낮은 수준으로 인상되어야한다.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
국회도 모든 법을 따라야 한다.
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 1/1/12.
전직 현직 국회의원들에게 부여된 특권과 관련된 모든 계약은 2012년 1월 1일 부로 무효가 된다.
The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congressmen/women made all these contracts for themselves.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S.) to receive the message. Don't you think it's time?
