아이폰 아이팟터치 2.2 업데이트: 감옥 탈출, 언락 방법

공식적으로 펌웨어 2.2가 금요일인 2008년 11월 21일 공개되었는데요, 언락/감옥탈출 소프트웨어가 일요일에 iPhone Dev Team에 의해 공개되었습니다.

일단 아이팟터치 1세대와 아이폰 1세대 사용하시는 분들은 쉽게 적용가능한 듯 합니다. 아이폰 3G 사용자의 경우는 감옥탈출은 가능하지만, 언락을 원하시는 분들은 애플의 펌웨어로 업데이트하지 말라고 하는 군요. 그 이유는 부트로더가 업데이트 되면서 언락이 더 어려워지기 때문이라고... 현재, 3G의 언락이 거의 가능한 시점에 와있는듯 합니다.

두가지 방법이 있습니다. 자신의 커스텀 펌웨어를 만들어서 복구모드로 설치하는 pwnage tool 을 사용하는 것과  펌웨어 설치후 간단하게 감옥탈출/언락하는 QuickPwn 이 있습니다.

저는 커스텀 펌웨어를 만들어서 복구했습니다. 설치에 필요한 파일들은 아래 링크에서 다운 받을 수 있습니다. modmyi라고 원래는 modmyiphone 이었는데, 애플의 법정공방에 시달려 modmyifone으로 변경했다가 다시 최근에 modmyi로 바꾸는 시련을 당했답니다.

혹시 커스텀 펌웨어 만들때, 부트로더 파일을 읽지 못한다는 에러가 나올때는 pwnage tool을 하드로 인스톨하신후 사용하시면 됩니다. 저도 그냥 마운트된 프로그램을 이용해서 커스텀 펌웨어 빌드했더니, 부투로드 파일이 있음에도 불구하고 "안된다고"해서 새로 다운 받고 했었는데, 결국은 어디에서 실행하는 지에 따라서 달라지는 것 같았습니다.

특별히 주의할 사항은 없습니다. 복구모드로 들어가는 방법은 이전 게시물인 에서 볼 수 있습니다만, 다시 한번 적어둡니다.

This is how to achieve DFU mode. You can do it on every phone:

• Attach the phone to the pc
• Turn the phone off
• Hold power and home together for *exactly* 10 seconds
• Release power but keep holding home until the pc beeps as a USB device is recognized.
• At no point will the display come on. Now your restore should work.

다른 방법:

Step 1. Turn off your iPhone.

Step 2. Hold down the power and home button.

Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.

Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that its in restore mode.

윈도우즈에 있는 주소록의 정보를 맥 주소록으로 쉽게 가지고 오는 방법을 여기 적어 둡니다.

1) Create an address book folder on the desktop, then any sub folders to match the Windows Address book

2) Select all the entries in WAB, drag and drop to the appropriate folder. This will create V cards.

3) Once complete, copy the folder to the Mac via CD, network etc.

4) In the Mac address book, create any folders as needed to mirror Windows. Then drag and drop the vcard entries into the address book.

몇가지 개인적으로 커스터마이징 한것들...

일단 Cydia에서 Boss Prefs 를 설치해서 fix user dir permissionr과 allow apple app killswitch를 실행했고, tzone hack 을 다운받아서 실행한 후 (apn을 epc.tomobile.com)으로 업데이트했고, make it mine 다운 받아서 커리어 이름 원하는 것으로 바꾸었습니다.
